While our hardcore friends shelled out $400 to $600 (haha) for consoles that broke down on them, my launch day Wii still works fantastic.

I’ve never turned it off in five years either. That’s right. My Wii has stayed on for five years straight (minus the occasional power outage that affects the neighborhood).
The most popular console is the most hated. Even Nintendo hates the Wii and what it represents.
