This is going to be fun to watch. What happened is that Incgamers (a website blacklisted from Blizzard) made an interview with the lead developer for Diablo 1 and 2. He said he agreed with the criticism of Diablo 3 and admitted he was a little happy. He said he was a little happy because it shows that individual people do matter and that Blizzard’s people were inexperienced with the Action RPG genre.

The forceful response by the Diablo 3 developers to the interview has completely overshadowed anything in that original issue and has become the main story. This is a PR Meltdown. In way, we must thank social media for this.
The reaction raises many questions. Is the D3 team under immense pressure which is why they are a tad jumpy? Is that D1/D2 guy quite a loser? What is the story behind Blizzard North being dissolved?
And just think, all this comes right when the big Diablo 3 patch comes out!
