In Game Informer, they have details about Metroid Blast in Nintendo Land. I thought Metroid Blast would be the person with the GamePad be ‘Adam’ who gives orders while everyone else gets to be ‘Samus’ and share their maternal instincts with one another while discussing ‘the baby’.
Happily, Metroid Blast is not Sakamoto’s Metroid. My nephews love Metroid Prime Hunters and the VS game in Metroid Prime 2. When they think of Metroid, they think of gameplay like Quake! Hahahaha. I once loaded up Super Metroid for them to try and they were all confused. Hahahahahahahah. Metroid Blast will be extremely popular with them. I hope you can play this game single player as well. Deathmatch with some bots would be fun.
But online… online… online. The lack of online is turning Nintendo Land from what could be an A game into a B or C game. Nintendo, if you are going to put out patches or DLC, online multiplayer for Nintendo Land is a must.
The Balloon Trip Breeze sounds fun because Balloon Fight is Nintendo’s Joust. What I found so much fun about Pac-Man Vs was that it was not 3d gameplay. Too much multiplayer gameplay on consoles today is always 3d. It’d be fun to have more simple 2d multiplayer. It’s why games like Bomberman are a blast.
I would like to hear more details on Nintendo Land especially any online elements about it.
