Kotaku has a post showing political contributions of game companies. That most go toward the Democrat candidates is no surprise. Generally, the entire entertainment industries all lean more toward the Democrat side.

For Democrat:
-Entertainment (includes Hollywood, music, gaming)
-Information (i.e. journalism)
-Anyone who works for the government
For Republican:
-Athletics (many non-black sports players)
-Military
What is more revealing is geography. Most game companies are located in the more Democrat areas so, naturally, what makes up the company ends up matching the surrounding areas. NOA is in Seattle, a very Democrat area. Many game companies are in California, ditto. Austin, also a popular game company place, has been coined the ‘San Francisco of Texas’.
