Unless you don’t pay attention to anything, you should have heard about the Madoff scandal. But what you may not have realized was that the Madoff scandal was exposed earlier on by someone who could do the math. But, alas, this someone could not do the writing.
If the paper was better constructed, more arrow-like, the news would have gotten out much sooner about Madoff. This is why the most important skill, perhaps more important than anything else, are communication skills.
