I have added a new category to this blog: music. Everyday or, rather, everyday of making posts, I will put up a music song of a video game. The order of the songs doesn’t matter. #1 won’t be the best and #248 won’t be the least. But they will all be good songs.
We talk about how games were more creative or had better gameplay back in the past, but the music really is more catchy and memorable despite gaming’s capacity for DVD quality surround sound.
I hope that with each visit, the reader’s heart will soar with the reminder that game music can be, and once was, awesome, and they will leave this blog with a smile on their face and a spring in their step. Golden memories will stir, and the reader may proclaim, “What a time it was when games knew how to make music!”
