Why do you seem to care so much what other gamers or the media thinks? You spend so much time complaining about everyone else’s perception about gaming instead of discussing gaming itself.
It just seems counterproductive. Why not enjoy what you have and stop worrying about what you can’t control?
Actually, one of the unique things about this site is that I don’t care what people think. Most ‘writers’ on gaming are trying to get hired as ‘game developers’ or trying to get people inside the “Games Industry” to like them. I’m doing the exact opposite of that. I actually type: “I want the games industry to be creatively destroyed.” No one says stuff like that. It might ‘offend’ someone.
Living your life towards other people’s perceptions is not living. Time is too precious to care what people ‘think’.
