“A Modest Proposal for Gaming” translated to Spanish

Hi Malstrom.

As you can see I have translated the entire article.

This is quite a feat. “A Modest Proposal for Gaming” was, of course, from the original “A Modest Proposal” by Jonathan Swift. While Swift’s absurd proposal to eliminate poverty by eating children, mine is to preserve gaming’s artistic purity by segregation of ‘hardcore’ and ‘casual’ to the absurdity of the Jim Crow laws. We’re scarily close to it anyway. People demanding that Nintendo not show up at E3 because they have some ‘casual games’ to show off, separating game sites into ‘real games’ and ‘casual games’ (which apparently must mean ‘fake games’, right?), and just the entire tone toward the ‘expanded audience’ makes me think, “Why don’t you guys go full on with your direction? At the next E3, separate the water fountains and bathrooms from ‘hardcore’ and ‘casual’, have ‘casuals’ ride in the back of the bus, etc.”

Many of Swift’s original lines were left in the article. This is why the sentences in it sounded so… archaic and long. So it was quite a feat to go and translate the work as it was obtuse even by English standards! Thanks a million.
