Email: I’ve a favor of sorts to ask you

Greetings,

This is sort of difficult to bring up, because a) it’s not really your problem, and b) I’m fairly certain you didn’t actually have anything to do with this.  Nonetheless, here is what I am facing:

In our comments section lurks a troll with a dynamic IP and various names whose sole purpose seems to be as disruptive and bothersome as a human being can possibly be online, shy of hacking into websites and planting viruses.  He cannot be banned or blocked, so we’ve just taken to deleting his messages.  Even so, he tends to post the same message numerous times across several stories, and he’s become quite a nuisance.

How does this concern you?  Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t, but the reason it might is that he seems to have a tendency to invoke your name in his… er, diatribes.  And as I’ve seen him around on blogs other than our own, I cannot say for certain that his tendency to liken himself to you is isolated to us.

As such, I thought you might like to be made aware of his actions, in case you might wish to disassociate yourself with him.  The optimist in me thinks that maybe if you, a seeming person of influence to him, actually said something about what he’s doing (or how he’s doing it), he might even stop.  Of course, that flame of optimism is but a mere flicker, so I’m not exactly counting on him straightening up or anything.  But it might be nice if he quit trying to use you as some sort of justification for his hate-filled ramblings.

This sounds like Wii Boy who was doing the same thing on Go Nintendo posts. I don’t know who he is or why he keeps typing LIKE THIS ALL TIME.
