*weep*
At least they’re talking about the pointlessness of the hardcore entry in the talk page. Kinda makes me happy. Still, idiotic.
Maybe I should suggest it for deletion, or make the page include theorization as to hardcore being largely a marketing-induced illusion.
Wikipedia is all garbage anyway.
One thing I have been doing is buying full set Encyclopedias at bargain based prices or for free as people toss them out because “don’t need them anymore because of dah Internet!!” Everything about the Encyclopedias are professionally done. People paid a fortune in order to get them. And best of all, they do not *change* on you. I can cite them in writings and articles. Anyone who cites wikipedia is going to be laughed at.
The author of the Long Tail, that Wired editor, was caught red handed sourcing wikipedia on his latest book. He went on the Charlie Rose show to *explain* why he was using wikipedia sources but no explanation in the world will work. It doesn’t take much time to get a real source of information (and wikipedia often cites those sources anyway).
