Email: Minecraft lesson

Well I wasn’t expecting that, but it did make me think some more about game stuff in general.  Like, I remember a friend with Dreamcast, when Dreamcast was still new, who had a demo disc with a bunch of games featuring one or two levels.  I never thought about it but yes, demo discs don’t seem to come out anymore.

Anyway, I didn’t only come across videos of giant towers in Minecraft.  I also had come across these two, which you may appreciate.  Don’t have your speakers on too loud!

Ahh the creeper. The most terrifying monster I’ve seen in gaming in a long time.

Someone who doesn’t play Minecraft might be wondering, “Why is it so terrifying? It looks like Gumby with a frown?” So for the unsuspecting reader, just imagine you are playing Link to the Past and your inventory has tons of stuff (stuff that you built). You turn around and see the green guy who just explodes on you, instantly killing you and making your inventory go away (you have to return to pick it up… if you make it in time.)

Anyway, this Halloween I got the usual ding dong at the door bell. I look through the sight hole and see this…

I’m not opening that door!
