Like you and many others, I watched the Nintendo E3 press conference. And even though I can see many games I like on the 3DS, when it comes to the Wii U, it feels like i’m back in 2005 again.
Isn’t this controller what everybody thought Nintendo was going to do when the Wii was still called the Revolution? I can remember people saying that the new Nintendo controller would have a touch screen like that of the DS. Skip ahead a generation and voilá, we get just that: a controller with a touch screen slappe don.
Congrats Nintendo, you’re doing exactly what a bunch of stuck up nerds thought you were going to do a few years ago. I hope you’re proud of it.
It is also amazing how accurate the mock-ups were of the Project Cliche controller. It shows a lack of imagination within Nintendo.
It also raises another question.
“Where the hell is all that Research and Development money going?”
