This is the 3DS.

Japan’s Nintendo Co posted its first ever quarterly operating loss, cut the price of its 3DS handheld game player and slashed its full-year profit forecast far below market expectations, hit by sluggish sales and a strong yen.
This is Michael Pachter on the 3DS.

“We view the 3DS as a revolutionary device, and expect its launch to spur hardware and software sales,” Pachter said.
Pachter said games for the portable 3D-gaming device will go for a premium compared to other portable game machines. He believes that thanks to the 3DS’ functionality and expected success, games for the device will retail for $29, rather than “a blended average of around $25 today.”
“The 3DS was SO much better than I ever imagined, it has to be the hit of the [E3] show,” Pachter said. “I think that they can sell out the first 10 million at any price below $300, and think that the experience is well worth a price that high.”
