What I like about Notch’s approach is how it is the opposite of the ‘Game Industry’ or ‘Creativity Obsession’. No high production. Game is very basic. No tutorial. No story of any kind. No ridiculous ‘characters’ or ‘characterization’.
It should also be inspiration to people who want to make games. You can make simple and fun games like this.
