How media coverage goes with places like Texas is that local coverage goes insane over it (the reporter stands outside in the rain to tell us it is raining) but the national media rarely says much about the hurricane trashing Florida or Texas or Georgia. But since this hurricane is taking a path through the North East and through New York, the national media won’t shut up about it.
What’s funny is how weak the hurricane is. It might as well be a tropical storm. And the residents realize the nonsense.
Why is the reporter wearing swim goggles? Everyone is laughing as people streak all around him.
For those of you outside the United States, Americans despise and ridicule their news media any chance they get. When Hurricane Ike hit Texas, someone put on a bear suit to mock the reporter and the ‘hurricane hype’. I wish I thought of doing something like that.
