So Famitsu just revealed both Monster Hunter Tri G for 3DS and the Slide Pad add-on.

Dear lord, that things looks hideous. It’s almost as if it’s begging me to wait for the 3DS revision.

But anyway, I hope you are having fun riding the tears Malstrom. I know I am. Just seeing everybody kid themselves that this will not become the standard is hilarious.

It does make me wonder though: we already know of the second stick add-on, we already know of MH Tri G, what are we going to see at the conference next week? Does Nintendo already have the redesign set to launch to mess up the Vita?

YOU KNOW WHAT IS REALLY FUNNY? EVERYONE ACTING AS IF MONSTER HUNTER IS SOME SORT OF KILLER APP. MONSTER HUNTER ONLY SELLS IN JAPAN. AND WHILE IT HELPED JUMPSTART THE PSP FROM BEING DEAD, THE DS WAS WAY MORE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT ANY MONSTER HUNTER. WHY DOESN’T NINTENDO FOCUS ON THE GAMES THAT ARE BIGGER THAN MONSTER HUNTER LIKE… NEW SUPER MARIO BROTHERS? MONSTER HUNTER IS NOT A PANACEA. IT IS AT RISK OF OVERSATURATING THE JAPANESE MARKET WITH ALL THESE MONSTER HUNTER RELEASES. VITA WILL HAVE MONSTER HUNTER TOO SO WHO CARES?

ANYWAY, THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT WE NO LONGER HAVE TO HEAR PEOPLE TRYING TO COMPARE THE 3DS LIFECYCLE TO THE DS LIFESCYLE. THERE CAN BE NO COMPARISON.
