I don’t rememember if I sent you this email but watching these interviews with Charles Martinet I have noticed that back when Mario 5 came out he was saying like “Ohh I love this game it is so easy for me to play, I find the Galaxy games hard” and now he seems like he is being forced to say he loves all the Mario games but he mentions galaxy games last in his interviews as he games he “loves”.
I do remember his big obsession with 2-d Mario when he met him for the first games he did voice work for. Now it seems like he is forced to promote all the games equally and say he loves them all even if he can’t play 3-d Mario very well.
I remember him saying this as well. I also remember that during the Wii E3 2006 line he would ask, “What is your favorite Mario game?” I’m curious what answers he got.
