While there is certainly the hardcore grievance, without a doubt WoW represents a sizable pot of money. This attracts viral marketers like anything else. I doubt all the complaints are genuine. How can Pandas be so ‘game breaking’ in a game that has walking walruses, cow characters, and werewolves?
