Email: Now why would I need this feature, Nintendo?

Well, this is interesting.

That’s odd. When Nintendo released the DSi XL, they didn’t allow us to transfer data from our old DSi. Yet why would I need this feature for 3DS?

It is pretty obvious a new 3DS is coming out (with a new branding).

Now here is what I find interesting. Let’s assume many people who bought the 3DS will buy the 4DS. This will increase the hardware sales but not the software sales. In other words, the install base isn’t really growing. Already, we see 3DS hardware sell but not the software. The relaunch will increase this gap.
