Interesting you replayed Link to the Past, as I recently did too. Another interesting thing about that game is that it’s fun to watch. I had some friends over while I was playing and they were engaged the whole time. I feel like that’s an important quality to a game that’s often overlooked.
Also, in the event that you play Link to the Past again in the near (or distant) future, I highly recommend playing it with an SNES Super Advantage arcade stick. So rewarding.Iwata says, “You can tell if a game is good is if it is fun to watch others play.” Alas, he doesn’t say that anymore. :(
