Patch 5.0 is the actual Expansion Patch with the additional five levels and Pandaria ‘turned off’. This is so Blizzard gets everyone familiar and their systems all together where they essentially have to flick a switch when the expansion comes out.
While I am greatly pleased to not have to stare at a dragon screaming at me while standing on buildings, I do like the new login screen. As someone who played in the beta, I can tell you that Pandaria will be more fun than people think. The biggest surprise will be how popular pet battles will become. Too bad Nintendo thought online was ‘stupid’ and now other companies are going to do online Pokemon before them.
People keep saying Pandarans are like Kung-Fu Pandas. But I think they are more like the Gummy Bears. “GUMMMY BEARS!!! BOUNCING UP AND FROM AND EVERYWHERE! GUMMMMMMYYY BEARS……!” Seems to be a show everyone forgot.
