You have probably heard that Bayonetta 2 will be exclusively on the Wii U. If you’re like me, you probably didn’t care about the first one and overlooked this without much thought. But then I saw how the hardcore reacted to this. They are completely asspained, colonclobbered, rectumravaged, sphinctersmashed, bootybruised, and all around butthurt over this. Many of them have propped up online petitions, boycotts, and campaigns against the series. To them, it’s like Platinum Games stabbed them in the backs, stole their money, and slept with their moms before their very eyes.
The ironic part in all this is, Bayonetta wouldn’t have had a sequel if it weren’t for Nintendo backing Platinum (hence why it’s a Nintendo exclusive now). Yet the hardcore howl on about how Nintendo STOLE the series out of their very hands, how it was wrongfully TAKEN from them, and how they must reclaim it as it is rightfully theirs.
Oh well, at least they have Devil May Cry, right? Haha.Poor hardcore…
What I find funny is that analysts have proclaimed the age of exclusives to be over. What does Nintendo do? Get exclusives. I’m not sure Microsoft and Sony can afford to care about having exclusives like they did last generation.
