Take a look at this story. If October 18th is the release of a new Linux version that has Valve Corporation games, it is awfully suspicious as October 18 is GoG’s ‘big announcement day of a new OS.
Seeing that Gabe ‘A Kinder, Gentler, DRM’ Newell seems to dislike Windows 8 enough to move Steam over to Linux as well as Notch pissing on Microsoft, I wouldn’t be surprised if GoG has a similar attitude. Many people assume GoG would announce support for Windows 8. But I don’t see why they would need an announcement day for that. Other ideas is Mac support or releasing mobile Android games. But releasing mobile Android games is supporting Linux.
