Email: What happened to Simtex

They got bought by MicroProse in 1996. Microprose was poorly run and lost money every single year after 1993 except 1997 due to Civilization II. When they died, Simtex died with them, and the IPs got sold off to different companies, some of them staffed by original Microprose people (ex. Sid Meier, who got Civilization back).

I remember Stardock trying to get the Master of Magic IP. And I remember the fight over the Civilization IP.
