GoG does lousy hints at new publisher

From PC Gamer interview, GoG says they are currently moving in talks to get the games of one of three publishers: Microsoft, Take 2, or Lucasarts.

The reader goes crazy for a moment. “OMG, LucasArts. Adventure games! Star Wars games! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG”

Calm down reader. There we go…

Anyway, can you imagine Microsoft embracing DRM free solutions? Imagine Microsoft selling their operating systems DRM free. (Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
*breaths* ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah…)

It is not Microsoft. Microsoft has their own store and their own console. And Microsoft doesn’t care about being DRM free.

It isn’t LucasArts because selling old games doesn’t fit their business model approach.

It is highly likely to be Take 2. Already, some of their games are on GoG like Duke Nukem 3d and Tropico. They would be able to add franchises like GTA, Lemmings, Railroad Tycoon, and the Civilization series. If any game is a Good Old Game it would be Railroad Tycoon and Civilization.
