End of World incoming. GOG declares gamers hardest hit.

Hence, their crazy sale.

Like the incredible reader, I do not like spending more money on games. However, there are two sales I think are really good.

Ultima series 75% off.

That would be…
Ultima I
Ultima II
Ultima III
Ultima IV
Ultima V
Ultima VI
Ultima VII
Ultima VII Part II (Yes, it counts as its own game.)
Ultima VIII
Ultima IX

Ultima Underworld I
Ultima Underworld II

Martian Dreams and Savage Empire are already given away for free.

Before you go ‘OMG, buy!’, keep in mind these aren’t your normal RPGs. You’re not going to go in Diablo style and wreck stuff up. I think one interesting element of Ultima today is that the games are a snapshot of time. If you can legitimately play through Ultima II or III or IV or even V without screaming, I’d be impressed. Keep in mind these games suck in like 100 hours. They were considered ‘big box games’ back then costing $70+. Ultima games do require people to read through the multiple manuals and all. They are going to be a test of your patience.

FTL is like $5. That is a good game to get too.

The other sweet deal I saw was the Jumping Indie Bundle.

La Mulana- Metroid like game.

Mutant Mudds- Heard some nice things about this one haven’t tried it yet.

Giana Sisters- This game is SO worth it. Great soundtrack. Beautiful game.

Snapshot- Fun. solid.

Capsized- This is brand new so I have no idea what it is.

$15 for it all? That’s not bad considering it is $15 regular price for like one of them. But then again, I really like platformers. And Ultima games. Although I imagine people buying the Ultima pack going to be cursing at me soon afterward hahaha.

Now, I’m going to go play some of that yummy Giana Sisters. The game is like Mega Man’s Wily’s Castle Infinite mode.
