Email: ollins TO You There are only two things I like about the Nintendo Direct conference

1. The VC discounts are actual discounts.

 

I agree that we should just have the games we already bought, but I was expecting the discounts to be bullshit small, like just $1 off or 30%. 80% off is at least a good amount. I could have lived with that… if there was an account based system, and I could be assured that rebooting the system, or transferring to a new one, wouldn’t require the same re-downloading and save re-installing crap that we have to deal with on the Wii. I’ll stick with it on one system.

 

2. There’s a follow up to Xenoblade.

 

I think I mentioned in a previous e-mail that such a game was the only Wii U game I was looking forward to… and if the next system (which Nintendo will have to improve once their stocks and sales plunge) has some backwards compatibility, I will check it out then. The Wii U isn’t worth it for that.

But… but… Wind Waker HD!!!!! Pikmin 3!!! More 3d Mario! More Smash Brothers! More Mario Kart!
