No game will top 82 million sales anytime soon. Already, the music has become nostalgic. The Game of Forever.
“82 million sales? Let’s stop doing what works and make games that explore 3d!” Nintendo is missing its 8th Generation sales targets. They can’t blame the exchange rate forever. Some think Nintendo ‘turning things around’ now with the 3DS. I still see it that the ‘good will’ base of the 7th Generation is rapidly eroding. The hardware keeps having to be sold at a loss in order for anyone to buy it. It’s going to get worse in the 9th Generation if Nintendo keeps going its present direction.
