How can you say that. Dont you remeber excite truck? One of the best arcade racing games last gen. :)
But yeah, there was a shortage of those kind of games. Thats why I looked for my arcade racing high in other games, like Tony hawks downhill jam. I truly recommend this game if you havent played it. True it isnt real cars/motobikes but it gave me my fix. Played those two games more than Mario kart ha ha.
Same thing for SSX Blur (although I didnt play this one as much as the other two).
Btw, keep writing about women, I, and hopefully other readers, enjoy it!
Excite Truck was good but had the ‘launch day’ flaws. I really didn’t like Excite Bots.
I did own Downhill Jam for a while. Actually, the game comes from one of my favorite game makers called ‘Toys for Bob’. They made Star Control.
Wii had a smashing launch window. It had Wii Sports (game of the forever), Excite Truck (which was cool), and some of the other games on it were interesting like Downhill Jam. Some of them were disappointments like Monkey Ball but, hey, it is Monkey Ball. What I really liked was the Virtual Console which was on Day One where I downloaded games like Mario Brothers (NES) [such an incredible game from 1983] or Super Mario World. Virtual Console was so much fun the first couple of years of Wii. A shame Nintendo never understood it. They keep trying to ‘make it a unique experience for the unique hardware’ or such crap.
I wouldn’t mind a third Nintendo console where it is nothing more than a museum piece where you just play older games. They can take their ‘integrated hardware and software’ surprises and shove it.
