Email: Women in movies vs games

Feminists DO complain about women in movies. They complain all the time. The movie industry doesn’t care for an obvious reason. Think about it…what have you never heard a male actor, producer, or director say?

“I sure have trouble meeting women.”

Hardcore video game message boards are full of men who have never talked to a woman for more than thirty seconds, and the industry itself is full of these types as well. So they are far more desperate for women to like them, hence they give more time to this kind of stuff. They are secretly hoping that if the women in fighting games have smaller boobs, more women will want to play fighting games, so more attractive women will show up at hardcore video game tournaments and apply for video game development jobs, and maybe even talk to them some day!

Someone should tell them it won’t work.

Well, that is certainly a point. Game developers don’t attract hot babes like movie directors do (or famous actors).

One observation I have found to always be true is that these little ‘conferences’ or ‘exhibits’ that talk about ‘Sexuality in Video Games’ is ALWAYS, ALWAYS initiated and hosted by a woman. A man is never host of them.

I just found it ironic that those who say there is too much ‘sex’ in video games are the ones who keep making conferences talking about sex in video games.

I can tell you one thing, if sex was on the mind of game makers in the Commodore 64 era, they would not be programming their Commodore 64s!
