Email: steam values

in response to the emailer that likes steam…This is why people harp on steam. As been said before, Valve doesn’t want to create games anymore, they want to control games. people like to think that valve is a crusader of the indie scene. But if Valve isn’t in control of their game…they shut it down.

That dictatorship in action folks!

That is a great link. BTW, there is no such thing as ‘Valve’. It is Valve Corporation (as Valve is a corporate entity and one who refuses to go public so they don’t have to have transparency).

PC gaming was MUCH  better without Steam. Steam has consolized PC gaming more than Windows 8 could ever dream.

When someone says they are ‘PC gaming’ but do nothing more than open up the Steam client, they’re not really PC gaming. They’re console gaming using their own PC as the hardware (and the Steam client is the DRM). PC gaming is all about being an open platform and if there isn’t an option you like, you can code your own solution. It’s an entirely different experience than console gaming. But what difference is there between console gaming and Steam gaming?
