Hey Malstrom, check this out:
I quote: “Unfortunately, the movie scenes we worked hard to create were uploaded onto the internet.” Sakurai lamented. “You can only truly wow a player the first time he sees [a cutscene]. I felt if players saw the cutscenes outside of the game, they would no longer serve as rewards for playing the game, so I’ve decided against having them.”
So yeah… not that the cutscenes and the “story” will be missed (they won’t) but the whole logic of “people saw our surprise over the internet” is beyond ridiculous.
Maybe this means we won’t get a Metroid: Other M 2. Here’s hoping.
