Email: Fracking effects

Master Malstrom,

I know that you are pro-fracking.  I am curious what you think about
the recent events in Barnhart:

Thank you for your time.

What I think about the recent events in Barnhart is that their community is exploding in wealth, jobs, and population and that their community is in a Golden Age. Just as is parts of North Dakota.

Now about this ‘story’, I just laugh. Only an idiot would go looking for oil news from a leftwing UK paper such as the Guardian. My lawn is currently brown from the drought. OH NOES! Did the big bad oil companies steal all my water? LOL. No, it is because droughts make things hard for lawn owners or for people who own farm land. It has nothing to do with oil companies. Even if a rancher had all that water, how are they going to distribute it across all those acres of land? They really can’t. Ranchers are going to suffer due to droughts, and it wouldn’t matter if oil companies were there or not. These same ranchers suffered during droughts years ago before there was any oil. But thanks to that oil, the community has money which allows options. Places like Barnhart were shitholes before the fracking, but that context runs contrary to the narrative the Guardian wishes to put out.

Petroleum is one of those fields where outsiders think they are informed and can be informed but they aren’t in the slightest. They don’t even know the basic concepts of ‘upstream’ and ‘downstream’. They don’t know anything about, say, hydraulics or chemistry or even AC/DC circuitry. Just consider petroleum a field that is too sophisticated for you such as most people do with rocket science.

Did you know that fracking is being advanced further by using hydrofluoric acid? Yes, the same stuff you see in shows like Breaking Bad where they dispose of bodies is being poured down the oil well. I can’t wait to see the ignorant begin freaking out about that hahahaha.
