I have a feeling the higher-ups told him to call it a spin-off because we all know that Miyamoto doesn’t like Zelda II. Aonuma won’t even discuss the game.
Zelda 2 proves that Zelda is a hybrid of RPG and arcade action. Zelda 2 is such an intense game.
It is the only Zelda game where I feel I am truly fighting evil. The monsters actually feel like monsters. The game also isn’t cute at all, aside from the bits and bot slimes.
