The problem with Zelda Breath of the Wild

This game is confusing bloatedness with richness., micro-richness instead of macro-richness. I have played this game for days and getting close but still not at the first dungeon. It is ridiculous. Playing this game is like running on sand. You do so much effort, and you move so little. It is like a car stuck in the mud. Vroom, vroom. Mud going everywhere, the car moves an inch.

There is so much bloat between you and the next objective. What they should have done instead is just be able to have more objectives, e.g. the second quest.

What we want in Super Mario Brothers is to have many additional worlds. What we do not want is 1-1 to take half an hour to go from start to run to the flagpole. That is not the content we need. We need more, not bloat. One of the reasons why Mario has declined in popularity is because of this bloat. Mario 1 and even 3 kept it simple. World started adding more and more bloat with multiple paths, etc. Mario 64 had so much bloat it was hard to know what to do.

You can beat Legend of Zelda in a single day and get all the items. You cannot get all the items in Zelda Breath of the Wild and beat the game in a day.

Maybe we just need to play it more, but it is annoying that, if you have a job, it takes forever to go from one objective to another. This could be improved somehow.
