Email: Do Switch games come with printed manuals?

I’m really curious. My brother recently bought a PS4, and all the games he has came without manuals. The best thing you can hope for is s sheet of paper that shows you the button mappings, and so far only one game has had that. It’s a real bummer, because so many of the PS4 games are quite complicated for someone who isn’t immersed into gamer culture. Would it be too much to ask for an RPG like the Witcher 3 to explain some of the systems and mechanics it uses? Would it be too much to ask for a list of moves in a fighting game?

There is just something wrong when a game is nothing but a disc of cartridge in a box, it makes the game feel so cheap, like the people who made it didn’t give a damn. I remember that the manual for A Link To The Past had six pages of just lore alone. I also remember that the manual for Skyward Sword had six pages in *total*. It’s why when I go looking for used games I always try to get everything, if I’m only getting the disc or cartridge I might as well just download an ISO or a ROM.

It depends on the game. Most are not putting in printed manuals. Some have instructions on the inside of the case!
