Email: We actually do have a Switch song to match the Atari song Malstrom

Only problem is neither Nintendo or anyone (save for myself) has been intelligent/aware enough to recognize it and make an official (in Nintendo’s case) or fan made (in the gamer’s case) commercial/ad out of it.

I would’ve done so myself already but I don’t have a decent video editor program any longer since moving on to a newer PC.

P.S: You should consider creating a Malstrom contest where people use this song to make slick ads for Nintendo Switch that will make a mockery out of Nintendo’s current pathetic Hipster tinged efforts.

Anyway I realize rap and female rappers aren’t necessarily everyone’s cup of tea but you know something Sean? Not everyone in the world is a goddamned hipster either nor is hipsterism everyone’s cup of tea and what Nintendo’s official Switch ads seem to imply is that EVERYONE in the entire world is a goddamned hipster and “I” personally find that offensive, ridiculous and stupid all at once especially so since Nintendo’s mantra throughout practically all their years of existance in the videogame industry is that they are the company for “Everyone” thus their commercials should (you’d think) reflect that.

So having said that what I think specifically would make for a good Nintendo commercial for “everyone” out of the song I’ve sent you is the lyrics of it’s chorus specifically and not simply because the song much like Nintendo’s console is named “Switch” (although thats a cool fact and it sorta helps my case about it being the ultimate song to use as a background jingle to advertise Nintendo’s console and game products for it).

Here is an example of Anitta (dubbed the queen of Brazil by her fans) singing the chorus to Iggy Azalea’s “Switch” song Malstrom.

Can’t you see the simple marketing genius that using part of this song by Nintendo would be?

The lyrics are self explanatory and can even be used to advertise the different colors of joycons for the system.

Nintendo get on this song already and use it for official Switch advertisements and stop assuming all of your fans (and everyone in the world for that matter) is a worthless hipster because we’re not.

“Change the game (change it up, change it up now)
Switchin’ up the game (switch it up, switch it up now)
There I go again (here we go, here we go)
Play your role, play you role
Fantasy (fantasy)
Turns reality (turn reality)
Right in front of me (right in front of me)
I can have it anyway I want
Red light, yellow light, green light, switch!”

Ummm….. I don’t think that would play well. I mean a song designed for the gaming.

Atari song wasn’t about the 2600, it was about ‘Atariiiiiiiiii.’

Closest I can find is the Nintendo cereal commercial. Nin-Ten-Do… It has a beat, reader!

Nin-Ten-Do!
