Email: SF 30th Anniversary

Hello Master Malstrom,

Check this out!

We will have in cartridge the 12 arcade games (those with pixel graphics without 3d models like SF4 and SF5)

From what I understand the games are based on original ARCADE versions (not console ports).

SF1 (no one cares)

SF2 (The World Warrior, Champion Edition, Hyper Fighting Turbo, Super, and Super Turbo)

SF Alpha (Alpha 1, Alpha 2, Alpha 3)

SF3 (New Generation, 2nd Impact, 3rd Strike)

4 out of 12 will have online mode:
SFII Hyper Fighting,
Super SFII Turbo,
SF Alpha 3
SFIII: 3rd Strike

I suppose this type of collection generates more talk and money for the original producers than any kind of interaction via Virtual Console.

Is it a new trend?
If so, how can this impact the market in your vision?
After all, modern games (indie or big budget) will now have undisputed heavyweight competition not only in online stores, but also on the shelves of real stores!

Thanks for all.

I do want this, but I am waiting for feedback. Playing emulated versions of arcade games that aren’t geared to console play may not be as much fun as people think. Also, do the Switch controls work properly on this game? Does the D-pad work well enough?

One problem I have is that it is all… old. I love old stuff. But even I get tired of constantly retro. I want to discover some new stuff too.

You see that SNK Heroine game? That’s crazy. Looks fun as hell, even though you might as well stamp Otaku on your forehead.

Above: WTF is going on here!????

Oh Japan, I love you. Hahahahahahahaha
